My name is Danny Gill and I am a gas engineer working in
Huddersfield
Four months ago I weighed almost 15 stone, I was very
unhealthy, drank every evening and ate far too many takeaways.
When my son was born I realised that I needed to do something about my weight because I knew if
I carried on drinking everyday and eating what I was eating I knew I would have no motivation
and energy to play with my son when he gets older
I had heard about New Image Fitness from a feature in the Evening Courier, so I decided to have
a look on the internet for Personal Training which took me to their site. As I looked through I
noticed that they ran an eight week challenge, this was to be the start of a life changing
experience for me.
So how did I do it?
For two months I did three hours of exercise per week with New Image and half an hours exercise
every day at home. I completely changed my diet, there were no more take aways and beer just
healthy foods and water. I really enjoyed the sessions and after the two months I weighed just
12stone 5lbs
These days I do an hour a week at the gym with New Image
and two hours of running a week on my own. I limit my takeaways to one a week and I only
drink in moderation.
I feel a lot better now,
not feeling tired anymore and I am glad I did something about my weight when I did.
Just to finish off I would like say thank you to Jago and his team for helping me achieve my
targets.
Danny showed one of the best improvements in fitness we have ever
seen in such a short space of time and he lost a huge 28.6lbs, a massive 15cm off his waist and
an amazing 5.7% body fat - Well done Danny!
